AYSO referees are all volunteers, so we don't tell you when, where or how much you need to work games. (We may beg, but we don't TELL) You decide how many games you want to do and what times. The only constraints are the age divisions you can pick games from, based on your certification level.
The links to the Regional and Area referee scheduling systems on the Quick Links menu on the left always point to the current season's scheduling system. If we are between seasons, clicking the link may cause a 'page not found' error message until the upcoming season's schedules are posted.
Signing up to referee or assistant referee games is managed via two first-come first-served online scheduling systems: one for Regional play and one for Area play. Links to the two scheduling systems are on the Quick Links menu on the left.
Access to the Scheduling Systems
Access to each scheduling system requires a user name and password that you create (so you can remember).
- In general, Basic (Regional) Referees can access only the Regional Scheduling System
- Intermediate Referees will have access to the Regional system and can request access to the Area system to get involved in faster-paced Area play
- Advanced Referees will have access to both systems
For New Referees
- After you have completed a Basic (Regional) Referee class and delivered signed eAYSO volunteer forms to the Regional CVPA, your email address gets added into the Regional Scheduling System database
- You use your email address to create your user name and password in the Scheduling System, using the procedure described on the NEXT PAGE
For Existing Referees
- You need to update your eAYSO volunteer information and deliver signed eAYSO volunteer forms to the Regional CVPA every year before the start of Fall season.
- In August, all current access accounts are reset pending the receipt of new forms. Once forms are received, existing accounts are reactivated
- This is the case for both the Regional and Area Scheduling Systems
Addition to the Area System
- If you are working Regional games and believe you are ready to also work Area games, send a message to the Regional Referee Administrator at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
- If your request is approved, your email address will be forwarded to Area and, once it is in their system, you can follow the procedure described on the NEXT PAGE to create a user name and password
